If it gets really hot, does the tank swell?** A: I now always leave the cap lose as to vent air. Kept the container in a hot garage and one day noticed it drastically 'compressed'. Not bloated or swelled but as if vacuumed air out. I don't know the physics behind gasoline, but there was a large amount of negative pressure which doesn't seem ideal for gasoline. Once the cap was loosened the container returned to normal shape. **Q: Does this can have a clear strip of plastic which shows the fuel level?** A: Yes. No Spill gasoline can is the bomb. It,s sturdy, holds up to abuse. Has a dirt trap that's easily maintained in the fill neck of the can. The delivery spout is great . Push button. Easy to use , the cap seals good and is made of good rigid plastic . This is my second , my other one is going strong after 10 years of hard knocks.
