Review: Very well made fan. - I looked a long time to find the perfect wall mounted garage fan. This Hurricane 18in fan is a good one. I'm very OCD so I did a lot of planning and I wired a new outlet for it. It moves a lot of air, very quiet and well made. I also wanted to be able to quickly take the fan cage off and be able to remove the blade for cleaning. This fan is perfect for that, three clips move up to remove the front cage then a large nut spins off to pop off the composite plastic blade. Even the fan nut is a backwards thread so it is always tightening as it's running. Very well thought out!!!! *******UPDATE ******** I noticed the rear fan cage was missing one of the 5 clamps, I didn't notice it when I was installing the fan. (not a big deal) but I email the company through their web site. I communicated with Chris Elliot, in a few weeks I received a complete new fan cage!!! Wow,,,talk about above and beyond!!!! Needless to say I'm very impressed and if you reading my post wondering about purchasing this fan, you need to buy it, you'll be very happy with it.

Good product, I got the 16 inch first but it didn't move enough air. Traded it for the 18 inch and it works perfectly in the workshop without creating a dust storm. Really good, easy to mount.
