Just a comment but you do need some sodium. My doc says not under 1500 mg per day. If you are careful with ingredients, you can keep sodium under control as well as keeping cost reasonable. You can use the high salt version to make rice for example by using no salt in the gravy or using no salt butter for example It takes a bit of calculation since salt is in everything so you have to be very careful in calculations and serving sizes.
