The snaps on the sheath do not look to me crimped properly and one literally fell apart rite out the box . Simple fix tho pop your snap apart lay your sheath on something hard , set your top half of snap over the snap base and give it a few taps with a small hammer or something . The head has substantial weight, enough to cut well. Compass is correct, and the knife is sharp. The whistle is loud. However, the ferrocineaum striking rod broke quickly. Easy to carry, but the belt strap on the cover ripped off. The axe head comes loose after a few strikes, so I carry some Allen wrenches. I do wish that the knife were larger.
