BLACK+DECKER ICR06X Xpress Steam Cord Reel Iron, Grey/Green

It is a good handy iron. I but it as gift. It looks good and isn't very heavy like other irons. The ironing function and steaming function both work great. In general, it's pretty good.

I purchased this iron to use without steam and for crafts (I sew). That being said, it doesn't get as hot as you might like, but for the most basic purposes it performs well. The retracting power cord can get stuck at times... gotta give it a wiggle, or pull it out and try to wind it up again if it gets stuck.

Really great iron. It's lightweight, so it's very easy to maneuver. I like the no-drip technology that prevents water from spotting your clothes. Has great steam output, so it really gets the wrinkles out. I'm not so crazy about the chrome on the handle (looks a little cheezy), but that doesn't affect the performance, so I can live with it. All in all, I'm very happy with it.

I was just looking for an iron to replace my broken one. This is such a better iron than what I had. I am so impressed by its performance and price.

Worst iron I have ever bought. Feels sticky or grabby when using the steam. Like using a very old iron that was misused. I only use distilled water even. I can say that the recoil doe work semi decent. You do have to work the last 9 inches or so back in is all.

I searched through features and reviews before purchasing this iron. It has good features--like the rewindable cord--and works well so far, but the on/off/heat button is ridiculously difficult to see and turn, and the opening for adding water is at a very strange angle.

Unit seemed to have been used before as it had water droplets clinging to the inside of the water reservoir. It does work satisfactorily to spritz, steam and iron out wrinkles. The retractable cord is a nice feature to keep excess out of the way of my cats.

I had a Rowenta, which I had hoped would live up to its reputation, but was always disappointed it its performance. Tried this one at my daughters and was mightily impressed, so much so I came right home and ordered one. It does a better job of getting out wrinkles that any of the last 2 more expensive models I've had and since getting out wrinkles it what its supposed to do - I highly recommend.

This iron is fine. And YES the chord does get stuck retracting. It helps to makes very sure that the chord is not in a Knick or twisted. You get what you pay for is my finding! I drop Irons on the floor with regularity and this time I decided no more expensive irons for me!

Much better quality than the previous model. Great quality for the price.

It came super quickly. Works as described. Took a few ironing sessions for the steam button to start working, but haven’t had a problem since

- Product arrived in poor condition. Marks on the plate and the handle and some couldn't be removed. The box is also torn.- Retractable cord doesn't work most of the time -- even when I tried to assist with the retracting mechanism.+ Good price+ The transparent green color looks nice and freshens the place a bit.If you're not picky, this item might be OK for you. The watts is low, but I accepted that when I made a purchase. However, I'm not OK with the cord being marketed as retractable when it rarely worked -- no matter how many times/angles I tried to reposition the cord. Perhaps, I got a lemon, but I rather return it. I do not recommend it, but YMMV. There could be good copies out there.
