Review: Wonderful gel pens with great sparkle, lots of coverage, great for coloring books - These are hands down my favorite pens to use for coloring and art. I love them in adult coloring books and Johanna Basford’s books. They have a thicker tip so, it’s easy to color a larger space, however the ink goes quickly as it uses a good amount. The tips never clog but be sure to store them with the tip facing upwards as they have a tendency to leak if you don’t store them upright- that’s my only complaint. They aren’t very transparent and really offer great coverage Purple has almost a bluish sheen to it depending on how you hold it in the light, amazing sparkle Blue is deep and vibrant with a teal sheen, the most sparkle of them all Silver seems a little transparent Gold is more yellow Green is almost teal but would work great for foliage Black reflects pink/red Orange is a very vibrant deep orange with a yellow sheen Pink is vibrant and has a pink sheen. The colors are vivid and sparkle. They live up to the name “Sparkle POP” because they do just that. The ink flows very smooth and is very satisfying to write and color with. For those of you who like to do adult coloring these are perfect- they also go over color pencil exceptionally well. Since a lot of ink flows out of the tip, I feel like the pens don’t last very long and use the ink up quickly. They need a moment to dry or they will smudge. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: are these waterpoof or permanent? Can i address envelopes and send in the mail wthout smearing? thank you for answering :)**
A: As to being waterproof I can’t answer but the ink is permanent.   I sign cards and envelopes with no problems.

**Q: where is the red? Why do some descriptions say Black/red? not two colors that combine......**
A: Some of these colors SHOW two colors in one.  For example, using the black pen, on white paper it shows red mixed in the black, sometimes even more red than black.  Look at Pentel hybrid pens.  The colors and color mixes are almost identical.  Pentel is trying to market these and hybrids as having double the colors of ink but really, it's only "doubled" if you write on a different color of paper (black and white).  These are VERY glittery and pretty but try them out first before coloring a prized picture.

**Q: Is the ink acid-free in these pens?**
A: Yes

**Q: Do the sparkles match the ink color?**
A: For the most part they do but generally I only order the gold & silver colors.

These are hands down my favorite pens to use for coloring and art. I love them in adult coloring books and Johanna Basford’s books.
