You can wire (2) 4ohm speakers in parallel to drop it to 2 ohms. Them take the positive and negative and connect them “bridged” to the amplifier and you’ll be at 1 ohm. Take (2) 2 ohm subs and wire them the same way and you’ll be at 1/2 ohm and likely blow the amp. I didn’t check the amp but you better verify that it it 1 ohm stable so you don’t blow it at 1 ohm if you plan on waiting it that way. **Q: I have two of these amps. One works just fine the other seems like it isn’t connecting rca. The blue light comes on but no sound** A: Ok, disconnect the working amp and connect the non working amp to the working amps wiring. Does the non working amp now work? This will tell you if it's the amp or the wiring. Next check all volumes, left rights, front- rear **Q: can this amp push two 10" R2D2?** A: I would say yes. Amp has plenty of power. I have it on two mofo 15's. **Q: Will this amp work for 2 R2SD2-12s?** A: No, it will send to much power to the subs since they are only 250 watt rms ## Frequently Bought Together - Rockford Fosgate Punch P1000X1BD 1000 Watt Class-bd Mono Amplifier - Rockford Fosgate Remote Punch Level Control - Rockford RFK4X 4 AWG Complete Amplifier Install Kit --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/1167627-rockford-fosgate-punch-p1000x1bd-1000-watt-class-bd-mono-amplifier](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/1167627-rockford-fosgate-punch-p1000x1bd-1000-watt-class-bd-mono-amplifier) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-26*
