**Q: Will this amp push 1 12" type R good?**
A: I have the type r 10 with this, and idk that I will need to ever add that second 10. Idk if you have seen those linkable subs and boxes. Definitely make a difference

A: No!!!!!!!
This is a great amp for 330W to 600W RMS single subs. While, Alpine manufacturers amps which will meet and/or exceed your needs; this is not the amp you want for dual 600 rms subs.
This, although a great amp, is an entry level amplifier. If you're going to dish out the money for JL subs, get an amp(s) worthy of driving them. You would need 2 of these amps to drive 2 600 rms subs. This amp is rated at 330W RMS x 1 (sub) @ 4 ohms. Or, 600W RMS x 1 (sub) @ 2 ohms.
