## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy , comfortable, and won't wiggle.
*by on Reviewed in the United States September 11, 2019*

I'm very happy with the chairs. They are sturdy and will be a very comfortable chair for my guests. This is a good investment and will be used for years as it is a simple but timeless parson's chair. The instructions on the underside of the chair are not helpful, so we fiddled with the chairs for 15 minutes. Then I went online and found that Stakmore has its own video. Just type: Stakmore Video on your computer browser. The video made it easy to understand and then the chairs easily unfolded. Check the video first. Also, after I fold and put them away I will apply some silicone spray or grease to the steel mechanism so as to make it easier to unfold the chair for the next time it's needed. I did not give it 5 stars for value because I paid $168 and I think that's pricey. But I see now the price has been reduced to a fairer price and good value.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really like these chairs
*by on Reviewed in the United States July 6, 2026*

Put these in the RV. They are perfect. Love that they fold for easy storage.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Holding up well (and I’m heavy)
*by on Reviewed in the United States October 12, 2025*

After close to a year, these chairs are holding up well. We don’t sit in them every day, but a few times per week. I’m close to 300 pounds, yet they don’t creak or seem to stress when I use them. They are sturdy and well built, and much more refined than your standard folding chair. No guest who sits in them would have any idea that they’re folding chairs.I can’t speak to how well the vinyl will hold up, because we use slip covers over the seat and back of the chairs, to minimize (and hide) damage from our cats’ claws. The vinyl seems tough enough though. One thing I will add is that (despite being foldable) these chairs would not be a good solution to keep in large numbers for a meeting place, rec room, church fellowship hall, etc., to replace traditional aluminum folding chairs. The wood finish and vinyl would get scratched quickly in a non-residential setting or when stacking in storage, and they do not fold up in that traditional, obvious way that makes it easy for everyone to instantly fold up their own chair at the end of a meeting— it takes some finessing to fold them up until you get the hang of it. In short, they are not nearly as portable or packable. They are best for home or home-like use, where you want to keep them out, but with the option of storing them in minimal space.
