**Q: Does this valvolene vr-1 racing oil have zddp (dialkyldithiophosphates) in it?  i know it has zinc in it, but does it have zddp? thank you,**
A: Valvoline VR1 Racing Oil contains .13% zinc and .12% phosphorus The anti-wear additive simply referred to as zinc is Zinc Dialkyl Dithiophosphates or ZDDP. It contains phosphorus, which helps to perform the anti-wear function in the motor oil.

A: the oil i sell is current stuff, not old stock, i get great deals on it and pass that along to my customers

**Q: Maybe a sumb question, but how come the oil is greenish in the bottle and after run in car for a bit and check the dipstick its clear? Very clean but**
A: We dye the VR1 racing oils slightly blue/green to help differentiate this product from our standard engine oils. However, the dye package used is very light. When you are checking your dipstick after running, the amount of dye on the stick may not be enough to fully bring the color out.
