After using it for several years, the following are tips/advice based on my personal experience with it, which may be helpful to others: 1.) It works best when used as a sealant on “normal” lipstick. By this I mean lipstick in a basic lipstick tube, it doesn’t matter what brand, what finish, etc. 2.) It *can* work as a sealant over some of the longer wearing lip products (that in theory should last on their own but don’t ) and even in some instances on top of a gloss layered over a long wearing lip products. 3.) #2 is highly dependent on trial and error & layering the products thinly with just enough time to dry but not too much 4.) You MUST apply the sealant in a thin coat on your lips & keep your lips parted & stretched open for several seconds in order to allow it to dry, or it will NOT work. Do not attempt to press your lips together to spread the sealant around. This will not work. You must use the brush to paint it on and wait for it to dry. 5.) Do NOT put anything over the sealant. Yes, it will make your lips slightly drier looking. No, you cannot pop on a little gloss or balm on top.
