**Q: Does this work on steel?**
A: Absolutely, it was designed for steel. I use it to restore wheel bearing fit in worn hubs.

**Q: Will this work to secure a brass insert into plastic housing?**
A: I would say so. I used it to secure a brass fitting into a plastic fuel pump housing (not sure what kind of plastic) and it held well for 6 montths now.  I also used it to mount a loose wheel bearing in my pickup truck, lasted for several years now.

**Q: Does this work on aluminum?**
A: Yes this product will cure on aluminum parts, however since aluminum is not an active meta, we recommend using a primer on aluminum substrates. Loctite SF 7649 is the recommended primer.

**Q: does this work on brass?**
A: Can't say about brass. I used it on wheel bearings on a 1/2-ton truck - the stuff held like steel. It works on hard metals...
