There are no F-Stop settings with these adapters.I estimate the Celestron Telescope to have an f/8 to and f/6 speed.Good luck with the endeavor. **Q: How far can you see** A: IN A suburb close to Philadelphia with a lot of light pollution, I've been able to see the Andromeda galaxy (2 million light years) with my naked eye (when directly overhead). I believe the question is how much this magnifies distant objects. Understand with telescopes, magnification is entirely a function of the eyepiece, which can end up costing more than the telescope. The distant eyepiece that comes with this is dim (due to the low cost). The magnifier cylinder works, but reduces the brightness even more. Because of the street lights around my house, I indeed have to use a dark cloth to shroud myself while viewing. With this, you will be able to see the Galilean moons, zones and bands of Jupiter and its big red spot, the rings of Saturn and its moons (800 million miles away). You will be able to separate many binary stars such as Mizar. With all that said, I do not recommend this unit. **Q: Is this a 4" or 6" telescope?** A: This is 4.5 inch reflector telescope. Nilesh Vayada - astronomer. **Q: does this come with a tripod** A: Yes, the tripod is included ## Frequently Bought Together - Celestron - AstroMaster 114EQ Newtonian Telescope - Reflector Telescope for Beginners - Fully-Coated Glass Optics - Adjustable-Height Tripod - Bonus Astronomy Software Package - Celestron – Smartphone Photography Adapter for Telescope – Digiscoping Smartphone Adapter – Capture Photos and Video Through Your Telescope or Spotting Scope Eyepiece - Celestron 94307 AstroMaster 8-Piece Eyepiece & Filter Accessory Kit - Includes Two 1.25” Eyepieces, 2X Barlow Lens, Three Filters, Cleaning Cloth and Hard Case Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/1144605-celestron-astromaster-114eq-telescope-for-family-stargazing](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/1144605-celestron-astromaster-114eq-telescope-for-family-stargazing) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
