Good question. While you most certainly can add car wash soap/shampoo to the detergent dispensers on your pw; it’s not going to produce the foam quality and thickness you are probably desiring. Most likely you will be getting a very runny soapy mixture without any real cling capability. The primary purpose of a foam cannon is to deliver a thick, dense foam which can cling to the vehicle and have a significant dwell time in order to help break down the surface dirt, road grime etc so that your contact wash is able to be less aggressive; therefore minimizing creating scratches. In order to take advantage of superior thick foam, you need a decent foam cannon and the smaller 1.1 mm orifice (since your sunjoe is electric) you also need a quality soap. I recommend Adams, mega foam or Chemical Guys Mr Pink. Hope this helps you. **Q: Conflict in the ad says both 20' but later on, says 35' hose.
