But so often I end up doubling them because I don't feel like I can trust them not to rip. I expected similar to the white mailers that Amazon uses...these seem to be half the thickness. I use them to ship clothes I sell on Mercari, Poshmark, etc. For the few things I ship each week they are a fine deal. They rip so easy I would never put one in the mail without double bagging it. I even had one rip while pulling off the adhesive backing. I have had several items come out of the packages during shipping when using the paper type. When they get caught in the post office machinery, they tear easily. These, do not. If you try to tear one of these with your bare hands, good luck!
