That's more a bluetooth tech constraint though than anything to do with this device as the DAC is clearly very capable. Downsides are it won't sound as good with bluetooth and no inbuilt wifi streaming. Remote is pretty budget looking. Also if you insisted on HDMI eARC for absolute best audio transmission this doesn't have it. Volume wise I use it at 60 plenty loud enough goes up to 100 would say its not up to audiophile standards of an expensive amp but its good enough and the remote is very intuitive.
