Super light but strong and sensitive. Casts great with mini guides. (Not Micro) The only complaint I have is that the handle is a couple inches too long for me. Of course that is a matter of personal preference. Over 10 1/2 inches from trigger. After practicing in a parking lot with the first, I placed it in the bed of the truck where the tip extended out over the tailgate by a few inches, seconds later the tip snapped from only the weight of the pole and reel itself and then fell into the bed of the truck. 2nd replacement from Amazon quickly arrived. On the 3rd or 4th practice cast the pole snapped just above the handle. I mounted a smaller 10-17# rated casting reel with 12# test and 1/2oz weight, within the range of the pole rating.First pole also arrived with some marring and chewing to the cork handle at the upper limits of the lower portion.
