There is a velcro cover over the zipper. After spending a ton of money and time to get rid of the issue in the rest of the home there was new outbreaks cause of this product. They retreated into the velcro and rebirthed a new plague of drama. This only works as a good cover to your bed if you got someone that wets the bed or just want to protect the mattress more. Bug free is false advertising. I now have to live with the bug problem till I can save up money again. By the way all those looking for an instant kill solution use windex the brand or generic stuff. You see those little biting a-holes spray them with it and in seconds whatever gets hit dies :). Windex is the only thing helping me to keep these buggers at bay at this point. Hasnt been a perfect cure but only thing I can do right now that somewhat works.
