Review: Very good product - Used this in the past when it was DuPont. Do two coats, clean with Hydrogen peroxide and a little comet cleanser where really dirty. Rinse and recoat if necessary. Mine last ten years before recoating.

**Q: will this seal sandstone**
A: My experience with the StoneTech products is they don't seal anything. Very expensive, tried different products and none worked.

**Q: About how many square feet of will this cover? I understand it depends on the tile size and the actual amount of grout.**
A: We have 20x20 tile on about 1200 sq. ft. in our new house.  Two applications on ours and two applications on our neighbor's (same size) with about 1/3 left.  So 6000 sq. ft. of tile coverage or more on this size of tile.  It will depend on tile size with smaller tiles having more grout but it works great and it's fairly easy to apply....I used a roller applicator.

**Q: Can this be used on a backsplash with white glass subway tile? Does it have an odor? If so how long does it smell?**
A: 1) Yes let it set for 5 minutes they wipe off....2) Hardly any noticeable smell...its water soluble so it really does not have any long lasting odor...

**Q: Can I put this in checked baggage on an airplane?**
A: No.  Have it shipped to wherever it needs to be applied.

We found this product because my husband used to work in the construction industry and this is what the pros recommend. We built a new home last year in a new neighborhood and, of course, had to seal all of the new grout in the bathrooms and kitchen. Almost none of our fellow new neighbors knew to do this. We have white and off-white grout throughout the entire house, as do our neighbors. But it's been a year now since we moved in and sealed and we are the only ones who still have grout that looks EXACTLY like it did the day we moved in. And we have had kids trample mud and gunk all over it, spilled dark pigminted liquid and powder makeup all over it, and spilled coffee etc on it. This stuff is the ONLY sealer you want to use! And it's easy to apply! My only advice is the same as another REVIEWER..DON'T use a roller or foam brush. Get a GOOD quality artist chisel brush and use a plastic cup. Went through a foam brush and a foam grout roller before finally breaking down and spending $7 on a chisel brush. After that it went SO fast and was super easy. Just wait 15 min between coats and do 2 coats and you are done! And it really doesn't smell much at all.
