Review: Rapesco 1487 Heavy Duty Tape Dispenser 500 with 2 Tape Rolls, Candy Pink - Excellent product, I have been using my original one for over 5 years with no issues and have bought several more since for various workplaces. Still cuts the tape as well as when it was new. Saves me a lot of faff trying to find the end of the tape and stops me using my teeth ripping it! Good weight to it, so it doesn't tip, be careful if you drop it near your feet as it will hurt you. Came with a couple of rolls of basic quality tape, did the job. Recommended.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: brought one myself and the middle that you put the tape on broke so cannot use it cant get in touch with seller wasted my money**
A: Make a new reel out of wood with a nail through the center.
Does not have to be circular in shape. What about two pieces of wood in the shape of a cross.

**Q: Is it possible to get a replacement spindle/wheel section? The tiny black bars on mine have snapped off. Thank you.**
A: You can get them on eBay but they’re about £4.50.

**Q: Is this plastic?**
A: It is made of solid plastic, heavy in weight so doesn't move when used. I would give it 5 star. Use all the time

**Q: Will the Dispenser accept tape with a 3 inch diameter (76 mm) centre hole? Thanks....**
A: Good afternoon,

Yes, this Rapesco 1540 Tape Dispenser will accept 3" core tape as long as the width of the tape does not exceed 25mm.

I hope this helps, and should you require any further information, you can contact the Rapesco team directly at sales@rapesco.com

Have a lovely afternoon!
Kind regards,
Katherine

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great tape dispenser. Household essential
*by K***N on 12 September 2026*

I knew that the way to find the bits missing from my old tape dispenser was to order a new one and right on cue they appeared. I now have an upstairs and downstairs tape dispenser. Which I agree is ludicrous Ultimately you just can’t live without one of these, especially as a parent, and this one is great-stable, cuts well, good price. The fact it came with sellotape was a double bonus.
