Do not be put off by the stiff feel of the new shirt. It is very comfortable and not scratchy. It will soften up a little with washing but, as I said, it looks like it might be uncomfortable but it is not. I love them for hot Texas weather. Just get the size right. Review: Very nice fit and finish. - I purchased an XL in anticipation of an extended trip to SE Asia (Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam) in the coming rainy season. I have a 43" chest and normal proportions at 5"10 and 180 lbs. The fabric feels great and the shirt is just loose enough that it should be an excellent fit in the heat and humidity we anticipate -- a L would probably have been too close fitting for hot weather comfort for me. The fabric is not at all heavy, it seems a perfect weight for its intended use. Before our trip I will try it out in the typically hot Arizona June weather as a sort of test run. My wife loves its appearance. I have purchased several linen items for the trip and will see if that fabric is a climate friendly as claimed. ## Features - Healthy and Breathable Fabric: high quality linen fabric, a special wash for a soft handfeel and maximum comfort, breathable - Enjoy the simplicity of this solid color sleeve shirt and express your fashion style - Light weight summer shirt, fresh and comfortable, perfect for all your casual evening - Suitable for: Sports, Casual, Business Work, Date, Party, Perfect gift for families, friends and boyfriend - Best Fit For U: Imported, Designed, Produced Exclusive Sold by Localmode Fashion Store. I naturally bought an xs in this shirt, but had to return it as it was too small. I ordered it in a medium instead and it fits like an xs men's shirt normally would. The shoulder cut is kind of weird, but manageable. I'm hoping they'll shrink up a tiny bit in the dryer. The shirt feels slightly like a canvas bag, but not as rough. Basically if you want to buy this shirt size up twice to get a good fit. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/110651468-men-linen-and-cotton-v-neck-short-sleeve-t-shirts](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/110651468-men-linen-and-cotton-v-neck-short-sleeve-t-shirts) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
