Twice as durable as our previous generation when cutting through metal, this bi-metal hole saw with a standard arbor features thicker walls to minimize tooth loss and improve durability. A staircase SPEED SLOT has a wide slot placed low on the hole saw and multiple leverage points to make it easy to work plugs out with a screwdriver. This design effectively removes sawdust and chips and helps prevent plugs from becoming stuck in the saw. 10% taller than previous models, it delivers cleaner cuts through two-by lumber. From the Manufacturer The Lenox Tools 1772953 38A Bi-Metal Speed Slot Arbore Hole Saw, 2-3/8-Inch outperforms all competitors in wood cutting, plug removal, and metal cutting applications. The patent pending Speed Slot features a staircase design for easy plug removal. The slot is wider than most and is placed lower on the hole saw with multiple leverage points to easily eject the plug with a standard screwdriver. The hole saw is 10-percent taller than the previous model to deliver cleaner cuts through two-by lumber. The Speed Slot efficiently removes saw dust and chips while producing a fast cut and preventing the plug from getting stuck in the saw. The new hole saw also features up to twice the life of the previous model when cutting metal. An enhanced tooth geometry, a thin kerf design and an advanced coating contribute to the efficiency of the cutting process by removing material faster, therefore generating less heat while cutting. ## Features - 2X more durable with 50% longer life than previous LENOX hole saws - Increased wall thickness improves durability and minimizes tooth loss - Optimized tooth design penetrates metal with ease - Larger, sharper teeth for faster cutting - SPEED SLOT staircase design for easy plug ejection ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0054SBDNQ | | Best Sellers Rank | #66,686 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #103 in Hole Saws | | Brand Name | Lenox | | Color | Multi | | Compatible Material | Metal | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (430) | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00885363002775 | | Included Components | HOLESAW T3 ARBORED 38A 2 3/8 60MM 1/PK | | Item Dimensions L x W | 5.69"L x 3.31"W | | Item Highlight | Hole Saws, Bi-Metal Hole Saws, Power Tool Accessories, Construction Tools, 2-3/8 in Dia, Fast, Larger | | Item Thickness | item_thickness.string_value inches | | Item Type Name | HOLESAW T3 ARBORED 38A 2 3/8 60MM 1/PK | | Item Weight | 7.68 ounces | | Manufacturer | Lenox Tools | | Material Type | Metal | | Model | 1772953 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Teeth | 12 | | Part Number | 1772953 | | Style Name | Industrial | | UPC | 885363002775 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Lenox - **Color:** Multi - **Item Thickness:** item_thickness.string_value inches - **Item Weight:** 7.68 ounces - **Material:** Metal - **Number of Teeth:** 12 - **Product Dimensions:** 5.69"L x 3.31"W - **Style:** Industrial - **Unit Count:** 1 Count ## Images ![LENOX Tools Hole Saw, Bi-Metal, Speed Slot, Arbored, 2-3/8-Inch (1772953) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/716edrVuxaL.jpg) ![LENOX Tools Hole Saw, Bi-Metal, Speed Slot, Arbored, 2-3/8-Inch (1772953) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41ZbRuG4KVL.jpg) ![LENOX Tools Hole Saw, Bi-Metal, Speed Slot, Arbored, 2-3/8-Inch (1772953) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51EyjHaDflL.jpg) ![LENOX Tools Hole Saw, Bi-Metal, Speed Slot, Arbored, 2-3/8-Inch (1772953) - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51CLqHTNR5L.jpg) ![LENOX Tools Hole Saw, Bi-Metal, Speed Slot, Arbored, 2-3/8-Inch (1772953) - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/619KMA5palL.jpg) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/11060621-lenox-tools-hole-saw-bi-metal-speed-slot-arbored-2](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/11060621-lenox-tools-hole-saw-bi-metal-speed-slot-arbored-2) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-11-07*
