Review: Waterfall sound & nice for an office desk. - wish it was a lil louder waterfall sound but I love It. Very easy to put together. very cute and nice for a peace of mind. Review: It’s fine - This is a perfectly fine item. It’s pretty light and feels sort of cheap but it does not necessarily look as cheap as it feels and that is more important to me. The sound was initially very disappointing (could barely hear) no matter how I adjusted the pump or water level. But, I put two crystal wands across two of the parts that collect water and they made the sound much louder so I feel pleased now. I did not use the rocks that came with the fountain as the looked very dusty and I did not feel confident with washing they would be sediment free. So I used some polished stones I had on hand. It’s unlikely I will use the candles often but it was nice to have those included. 6 candles were included in total - 3 a brighter white, 3 more like a very light tan color. One of the candles was unusable because the wick was so misaligned. Very easy to put together and set up. I’ll be using distilled water as recommended. Overall I am fine with this purchase - was easy to set up, will probably last a while in the environment I have it in, and I was able to add some crystals to it to make it reach the sound level I was looking for. Would not say this is an amazing item - but it’s totally fine. ## Features - RELAXING WATERFALL FEATURE: This tabletop fountain creates a soothing atmosphere with gently cascading water. This causes it to fall off its base, then it splashes a bit and said culprit, runs off!! This has happened a dozen or so times and the fountain is still like new. I use fake candles because of this, they work fine. My husband says he has caught the dog drinking from it too! This is ok because I dont use any of the water conditioner as this fountain needs to be refilled about twice a week, even without the help of the dog. We had it outside this summer on the deck, in those conditions it needs water everyday. **Q: does it use electic plug to operate** A: It is a very nice fountain. Plugs into the wall, and small enough for a small table or office. The plug is attached to the fountain. **Q: The pump stopped working after 2nd use... what size is the pump it came with so I can pay to order a better one** A: I have found that the pump intake can get clogged up. I disassemble the fountain and remove the pump. In a sink with an electrical outlet nearby. I clean the pump intake with a tooth brush. Then I test the pump and vary the setting with the little slider switch. I select the maximum and note that for future reference. If the pump at this testing stage does not put out a goodly volume of water, I disassemble the pump and clean the parts and reassemble. Be careful of losing the parts down the drain. Also I clean the plastic tube that runs from the pump to the top cup. This is all I have ever had to do. The pump intake seems to accumulate a waxy substance from the fountain so I have to do the cleaning periodically. Write back for clarification if you have problems with this procedure. My fountain has been going strong for several years. My cat thinks that the fountain is his person drinking fountain. Jim Latham **Q: I have had other resin fountains that get stained with calcium and then the paint or outer layer peels or erodes away. How well do these hold up?** A: I've had it for about five months. I do not run it continuously but a few hours per week. There's been no calcium build up or peeling paint at this point. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Waterfall sound & nice for an office desk. *by C***A on October 4, 2026* wish it was a lil louder waterfall sound but I love It. My first one sounds wonderful. I love it! This newest one has a motor sound and much less water trickle sound. I have tried various water levels in the bowl and can not improve the overall sound. 😞. I am disappointed but will keep it. ## Frequently Bought Together - Alpine Corporation WCT202 Indoor Tabletop Tiered Water Fountain Featuring 3 Candles for Desktop and Table, 11", Brown - Candlium Tea Lights Battery Operated Candles LED Tea Lights Flameless Candles 200+ Hours Flickering Fake Tealights for Sweetest Day Wedding Home Decorations Party (Warm Yellow, 12 Pack) - Homemory 12Pcs Flickering Flameless Candle Battery Operated, 200+Hours Fake Electric LED Candles Tea Lights for Votive, Centerpiece Table Decorations, Wedding, Aniversary, Halloween, Christmas --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/1098946-wct202-indoor-tabletop-tiered-water-fountain-featuring-3-candles-desktop](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/1098946-wct202-indoor-tabletop-tiered-water-fountain-featuring-3-candles-desktop) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
