Designed for residential and commercial use, it ensures reliable filtration with a low pressure drop and easy installation. ## Description The Pentair Pentek Traditional Standard Series filter housing (model 150071) is a 10-inch (#10) clear-sump filter housing built for residential, commercial, and industrial water filtration. Its standout feature is the clear Styrene-Acrylonitrile (SAN) sump, which lets you examine flow, performance, and cartridge life on site so you know exactly when to change the cartridge. The reinforced polypropylene cap is bracket-mountable and includes a pressure-relief button on the inlet side to bleed pressure for easier cartridge changes.The housing has 3/4" NPT inlet and outlet ports and accommodates a wide range of 2-1/2" to 2-7/8" diameter cartridges in the 10-inch length, so it works with common sediment, carbon, and other drop-in cartridges. It is rated to a maximum pressure of 125 psi (8.6 bar) and a temperature range of 40 to 125 degrees F (4.4 to 51.7 degrees C), with a low initial pressure drop of 1 psi at 10 gpm. The maximum dimensions are 12.63" x 5.25" (321 mm x 133 mm). Model 150071 is tested and certified by NSF International to NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for material and structural integrity, and is sealed with an EPDM O-ring and a 300 Series stainless steel button assembly.Please note the SW-2 wrench and the MC-1A mounting bracket kit are sold separately and are not included with this housing.
