**Q: What would you guys recomend for me? A not too expensive machete with a good quality, and great for choppin.**
A: I have not used this one.  I returned it and bought the Condor El Salvador machete.  It costs more but the quality is excellent.  It is definitely worth the money.  Hope this helps.

**Q: what kind of steel is the blade made of, specifically?**
A: Stainless steel, it is all one piece with paracord wrapped on the handle

**Q: How much 550 Paracord is needed to replace the wrapped handle? Would 25' be enough?**
A: Depending on how tightly you wrap, 25' should cover it.  The grip is roughly 6".  550 paracord is 4mm (5/32 inches) thick.

**Q: is the blade durable**
A: The blade is no good without a handle...
