After 3hrs with the GBT half full, the tea is still hot enough only to sip. The taste seems the same as when I drink it from a cup. The Lid and ceramic spout unscrew in one piece for cleaning and filling; which I prefer having a physical impairment; some may not like this though. Both the lid and the locking clip work with a satisfying click. The one hand button also feels responsive; when pressed it opens the lid like a jack in the box🙂. The locking clip is nice and tight and not easy to dislodge by accident and the lid hinge of reasonable quality. Whether they will stay that way over time, who knows... As in, does the flip open lidfall on your face/ touch your nose/etc?** A: The lid, once open, stays in this position until you close it again. Drinking from this flask is very easy and convenient. I am very happy with this purchase, used it for cold water in summer and now use for coffee daily. **Q: What if the product is Faulty ?** A: If it’s faulty I would send it back to the seller and also say what the problem is. But I would imagine you have a 12 month guarantee with it.
