**Q: Isn't this like storing a whole bunch of cash in your home? How could this be safe?**
A: Not your keys, not your crypto. Keep it safe and your seed phrases safe. Not to sound libertarian but it’s better than the alternative where they (banks) only insure 250k of your money and can be controlled by the government

**Q: What would happen if the company Ledger went bankrupt?**
A: That is actually not that likely during your lifetime (since the designers of the device want to use it for their own needs as well); but if they announce they no longer support the device, you can transfer your tokens to a new device from another company? Also, in the future phones will have secure storage that will allow this same type of key storage via an app on your phone. How cool is that?!

**Q: Can i move my bitcoin from coinbase to the nano x? i can’t figure it out for the life of me. just got the nano x today.**
A: The simple answer is "yes".  You will need to download the Ledger Live app.  There are versions for Android and Windows.  Ledger has some good tutorials.  I found the tutorials quite helpful.  Ledger advises you to send small amounts from Coinbase to your Nano X and from NanoX back to Coinbase.  Also, you need to download the Bitcoin app to your Nano.  This is done through the Ledger Live.  Hope this is useful to you!  I found the learning curve pretty steep myself.  Good luck!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent product and excellent brand, just what i needed

I’ve had the Nano S since 2018, and it started breaking down over the past few months. I’d been planning to upgrade for a while and finally grabbed the new Ledger during Black Friday. The packaging was excellent—arrived in perfect condition with no issues. The device itself feels much more impressive than the Nano S, offering support for many more coins and a significantly larger memory capacity (which was a major limitation for me on the Nano S). Setup was simple, and the software update went smoothly without any problems. I was able to restore my previous wallets from the Nano S, and all my coins are already accessible on the Nano X. It’s 100% compatible for migrating wallets from the Nano S. The functionality is a big upgrade, especially with the larger two buttons on both sides. At first, I didn’t even realize the right one was a button—that’s how sleek the design is! Security is a bit annoying that you need to enter the pin for most of the important actions but i guess better safe than sorry. Overall, I’m very happy with the upgrade and hope it serves me well for the next few years.
