It charges quickly and seems to hold a charge well, which is especially convenient for keeping it in the camper. Overall, it’s been a great little vacuum for what I need it for!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Says on the box hnvcf10 replacement filters, but can’t find them. won’t come up in search, also not on black & decker website?**
A: same here. My office bought one of these to use and I cannot find the filter for replacement. Yes it says you can rinse and reuse, however the one I have got a tear in it. Besides waiting for it to dry defeats the purpose to having the unit on hand. I have even asked Black and Decker for a part number -- but that only pulls up the wrong filter. Very dissatisfied with this unit and with Black and Decker.

**Q: Does the power button need to be held down constantly for it to be on?**
A: Yes, the power button needs to be pressed down to run.

**Q: Does anyone know the part number or where I can purchase a replacement for the plastic dust bin? Not the filter.**
A: Thank you for your contact. We apologize for any trouble or inconvenience in finding information. On this issue, please reach out to BLACK + DECKER customer support. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

**Q: How do you know when it is done charging and how long does a charge last?**
A: There is a red light on the charger (where it plugs in to the wall). When it is fully charged, the red light will go out. The length of time it holds a charge is determined by how often you use it, and for how long at each use. For me, it lasts several weeks on one full charge, but I only use it a few times a week. I love having this around, works great.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ DONT EVEN LOOK AT BAD REVIEWS! THIS IS GREAT!
*by A***R on September 5, 2026*

I'm from the days of the ORGINIAL dust buster and this is it! It comes partially charged so you can use it right away. It has amazing suction! Picks every single little tiny piece of kitty litter! Some bad reviews are btching about how long it takes to charge. Boo hoo, get over it! It works great!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cat Hair Be GONE!
*by D***F on September 12, 2026*

This is the third vacuum EXACTLY like this I have purchased from Amazon. These little vacuums are great, because they are lightweight it is easy to raise them up and clean up high! We have 2 cats, and battling cat hair is never ending. Our first vacuum lasted the longest! 3+ years of heavy service. The second one lasted over 2 years! This one, I have no idea, but a charge does not last as long as it did on the other two. I’m a little worried, but not ready to give up. The first two, were great! They ALL do a very good job of gathering cat hair! they are quieter than many vacuums, and I would/will buy again. I wish EVERYTHING made these days had better batteries.
