With one of these BOOX Wacom black tips installed, writing starts to appear on the reMarkable tablet when the reMarkable marker is 3 cm above the surface of the reMarkable screen. Needless to say, writing is therefore impossible. (BTW, these BOOX Wacom black tips look exactly identical to the reMarkable black tips. Absolutely identical, but clearly they are made from a different material and do not work properly inside the reMarkable markers) **Q: Would these work on their own as an emergency stylus or do they needto be inside the pen? Thanks** A: It need to be inside the pen, it is easy to change a nib. **Q: would these work for the note air 2 pen?** A: Yes these will work with the Note Air 2 pen. **Q: is it soft or hard?** A: It has a plastic tip. They have a better writing feel than the nib that comes with the stylus. I also bought some ReMarkable nibs as they are supposed to be the best, but I have to say that these actually feel better and a re far cheaper.
