He had been looking for something that would sit on the counter and go up to 700 degrees. The 550 of our oven just wasn't cutting it for Pizza! It makes terrific pizza. We do the Pie from scratch so can't say what it would do with the frozen kind. (Better not to eat processed food anyway!) Cleanup is easy and small enough that storage is not a problem. Only drawback, my husband wants to make pizza every night. Check back in a year and we might have gained 200 pounds! ### ⭐ This is model 6215 not model 6210 that goes up to 700 degrees *by H***N on September 24, 2013* If you are wanting the Nemco model that goes up to 700 degrees this is not the model. The model number for the one pictured here is 6215,,,,you will want model 6210 if you want to bake pizza at 700 degrees. Amazon does have both models, but the 6210 sells $457.45 which is about twice as expensive as the 6215. ### ⭐⭐ Thick white burning chemical smoke when first turned on *by P***H on June 12, 2015* A warning to anyone using this Nemco pizza oven for the first time: for the first hour or two of operation, it will emit a stinky white smoke from the inside that smells strongly of nasty chemicals. You do not want to cook anything while it is doing this, or your food will taste and smell like these chemicals.It either is not burn-in tested at the factory, or this is an oil coating to prevent rust and corrosion while it is in storage. You cannot immerse it and taking it apart is not recommended, so the only choice is to burn the chemicals out of it the first time you use it..I made sure I very carefully removed the plastic scratch protection film, and removed all styrofoam pellets, but it does this smoking anyway.Either put it under a hood vented outside or take it outside on your driveway or a wood picnic table, and run it through about six heating cycles, turning the timer all the way to the maximum. It will first stop smoking from the main chamber, and then smoke for a while from the side electrical wiring compartment.
