The connection, conversation, bonding, and growth we achieve each week is well worth the cost of this book and then some. We used to do a shorter daily “Devo” (devotional) but the content wasn’t half this good. We use this book once a week, on date night. And our marriage has never been stronger. I struggle with my faith and it helps me feel closer to God and to my husband. I STRONGLY recommend this book. I specifically chose it because it was written by a woman (a rare find amongst good devotional books) and she balances scripture and scientific research on relationships as her sources. The shining star of this book is the discussion questions at the end of each short chapter. The sessions really do take only about 30 minutes. Maybe a little longer or shorter based on your answers to the discussion questions. If you currently use a short, shallower Devo book daily, I encourage you to add this weekly gem to your routine. It goes so much more in depth.
