May need servicing after 6 months, however. *by P***O on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 July 2020* I have been using this switch for 6-7 months now I was impressed. Was easy to install as a replacement for a regular 2-wire pull switch. I set the light sensitivity to none (in order for it to work also in daylight), set the timer to 1/2 hr, and used it to control the bathroom's light + extractor. I discovered that the light needs to be halogen as opposed to LED since the unit absorbs a small current when off, which is enough to cause some LED lights to flash.I reduced my rating to 3/5 because almost immediately after writing my review the item started to fail (would not switch on). A reset would get it to work for another week or so, then it would happen again. I think I managed to repair the unit by replacing the rechargeable battery that is soldered to the internal circuit board. But since others are experiencing the same kind of failure after 6 months or so of usage, I think that the unit may have a design flaw and fail when the rechargeable battery starts to fail.
