The rear compartment is fully padded to hold and protect a laptop with up to a 17-inch screen, and a padded tablet pocket is compatible with most tablets. Get through security quicker with the checkpoint friendly/ ez-scan feature, compliant with TSA guidelines so laptop does not need to be removed from bag at airport security checkpoints. Will be using this backpack for travelling, and needed some nice protection for my laptop. This product is nice and sturdy, offering many layers of padded protection. Also comes with a very handy feature of a USB port for device charging. You do however need to provide your own chargable battery, so be aware of that. LOTS of compartments for all your laptop paraphernalia, also nicely padded for protection. Another great thing, often overlooked, about backpack is that it actually stands on its own when you set it down. Comes with a lifetime warranty. Highly recommended.

I have had a Tumi bag for 13 years and while I love it, it was showing signs of wear. I didn’t really want to pay $300 for a new bag, and this bag was inexpensive and feels very high quality. I love this backpack for traveling and work, I have multiple laptops that it fits well, and side pockets for the chargers. I had purchased an Amazon backpack previously, but I like how this backpack also has zippered compartments and other storage to keep components separate (the Amazon backpack was promising but didn't have the compartments so everything just got mixed together, making it more challenging to grab items. A previous version also had straps on the side that I used to hold a sweatshirt or the kid's lovies, but I couldn't find one that had that strap. I'm content with this one though!
