## Description

Flood Buzz Small Water Leak Detectors for Homes & Businesses - 3-Pack | No Setup Required - Patented Design - Use Under Sink, Toilet, Basement, RV, Water Heater, Dishwasher - Reusable Alarm - desertcart.com

Review: Peace of mind - These work really well. Put them where you worry water might leak and they’ll sound an alarm if water does leak. This is one of those products where it’s better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.
Review: These alarms saved me! - These little alarms saved me twice from what could have been a really bad flood under my kitchen sink. They are small, but loud and can be reused. I purchased a set to give to friends and family I liked them so much. They are not the cheapest water alarm but they work and will save you hundreds if not thousands of dollars in damages by catching leaks early.

## Features

- NO SETUP REQUIRED - PLACE AND PROTECT: The Flood Buzz Small has a factory-installed, pre-tested battery sealed inside - no battery installation, no tools, no app. Open the box, set each unit on the floor near any water connection, and your home is protected from the first drip. Done in seconds.
- UP TO 95 dB ALARM RIGHT AT THE SOURCE: Flood Buzz Small delivers up to 95 dB at the leak location, comparable to an alarm clock. Best results come from placing it close to the water source inside an enclosed cabinet or under a sink. For whole-floor coverage, place two units together or upgrade to Flood Buzz Pro at 110 dB.
- FACTORY-SEALED BATTERY - UP TO 3 YEARS ACTIVE LIFE: The internal 12V battery is sealed at the factory and is not user-replaceable. This is a design feature: no battery compartment means no accidental installation errors. Each unit has a replace-by date stamped on the housing - your built-in reminder to swap in a fresh unit when protection is due for renewal.
- ALERTS AT THE FIRST DRIP - BEFORE WATER SPREADS: The moment water contacts the two metal prongs on the base, Flood Buzz sounds the alarm. Place prongs flat on the floor in the most likely path of a leak - directly behind a toilet, under a supply line, or at the low point of a drain pan - for fastest response to even a slow drip.
- PROTECT AGAINST $5,000+ IN WATER DAMAGE FOR UNDER $10 A SENSOR: A supply-line failure under a kitchen sink can lead to $5,000 or more in repairs, flooring replacement, and water damage restoration. This 3-pack covers three high-risk locations in your home, business, or RV for roughly $9 per sensor - protection that pays for itself at the first catch.
- COMPACT ENOUGH TO FIT WHERE WATER HIDES: At 1.75 x 1.5 x 1.5 inches, Flood Buzz Small fits behind toilet bases, beneath dishwasher kick plates, inside cabinet corners, and in HVAC drain pan channels where standard water alarm sensors cannot reach. After any leak event, wipe the prongs dry and the unit is ready to use again until the replace-by date.
- PATENTED DESIGN FROM A FAMILY-OWNED AMERICAN BRAND: Flood Buzz is a patented water leak alarm made by Archetype Ltd., a family-owned company based in New Jersey. Reviewers consistently describe the unit as well-made and solid for the price. The single-piece sealed housing needs no assembly and is reusable after every leak event - wipe the prongs dry, good until the replace-by date.

These things definitely tell ya if you have water. They work very simply by the 2 metal prongs on the bottom of them, if there is water touching those prongs, they beep and they don't stop until you physically pick them up and remove them from the water (or I guess if the battery runs out, but we haven't had that problem yet.) On 5 occasions now, these things have told us immediately that there was water and saved us from having a massive cleanup. It doesn't take much water at all either, we put them directly on the concrete floor in the utility closet and the moment there was any water, they started sounding, so you don't need to wait until there is a catastrophe amount of water (even a quarter inch of water is a lot, so I like that these basically go off with even the smallest trickle of water.) They are not very loud though, that is my only complaint. We have these in the basement, and if we are upstairs in our bedroom (just one floor above) with our door closed, we cannot hear it going off. We can hear it slightly with the door open though, so I wish that they were just slightly louder. Also, these are very basic, you cannot sync them to an app on your phone or anything, so if there is water when you aren't home, these won't tell you that. Overall, for the cost, these were DEFINITELY worth it!
