I used to always use a very well known brand ~ that could begin with the first letter of the alphabet ~ however due to the issues that many people have, myself included, with the brand being convinced that they should all be scented this is the perfect switch for me. They do look very thin ~ more so than the previously mentioned brand ~ and I automatically assumed that they would be rubbish and that they could not be anywhere near as absorbent. I was completely wrong! I have very heavy periods, yet I went through less of these than I usually do when using the other brand. (These may seem thin but they work magic!) No issues at all with leaking, which is a first for me, and no irritation caused. They are very comfortable to use and certainly do not have that plasticky type thing about them which is a huge plus. The fact that these are natural is most definitely a huge thing and it is brilliant. I will be continuing to buy these and this is from a user of the other brand for over twenty five years! This box is perfect as a starting post as it certainly has the right mix in it. The night pads work amazingly well and no idea how the charcoal actually works but it has stopped the waking up during the night from flooding. I have sensitive skin which is easily irritated but these are very comfy.
