I decided to renovate said bathroom a bit. Before I purchased these, I had an over-the-door towel hanger with 5 prongs, perfect for myself and my 4 kids. Unfortunately, it made closing the door difficult and also chipped and rubbed off a bunch of paint on the top and sides of the door where it hung. It also was too high for my kids to reach, making it annoying for mom to hang up their towels every time they bathed or showered. With limited space in the bathroom, I wanted to be able to have a certain height that the towels could hang and not take up a lot of room. I placed two on one inside of the corner, and two on the other side behind where the door opens inward. It was really the only place that made sense in the small bathroom. I was a little leary that these would not hold bath towels, but I placed these in maybe 2 minutes tops, let them hang around for 24 hours, and they are holding the kid's bath towels just fine so far. It's been a week, and so far none of them have fallen off. I will be purchasing more for other uses such as hats and sweaters.
