The Contour Legacy is a proper purpose-built upgrade to that habit, and for the most part, it delivers. It feels great in use β€” the foam is supportive without being stiff, the material is soft and comfortable against the skin, and the removable washable cover is a thoughtful and practical inclusion. It stays in position well enough through the night... for the most part. I'll occasionally shift from my side to my back while sleeping, at which point the pillow naturally moves out of place. But that's hardly the product's fault β€” it's doing exactly what it's designed to do. Most importantly, it accomplishes the goal. It gets me to sleep more comfortably and with better support, which is all you can really ask for. My one caveat β€” and it's a minor one β€” is that I wish it were just a quarter inch thicker. Given that it's a molded foam shape, there's no way to customize the fill, so you get what you get.
