Also included in this kit are paper models which have practical uses, such as a bag in which to store spices or powdered medications, the masu box for containing small gifts, and uniquely shaped notes with elaborate closures. The more playful side of origami is represented as well: the stylized sumo wrestler with realistic moves has entertained Japanese children for centuries, and the paper Samurai hat is fun to play with. Everything you would need to make several of the designs. I purchased for middle school youth. We had a good time with the kit and everyone was able to complete at least one thing. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great craft for littles and bigs *by A***K on July 26, 2026* Beautiful papers and classic collection of instructions. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fun activity *by J***S on September 26, 2026* My daughter is 4 and doesnt have the dexterity to do origami well. I walk her through steps, we both get the steps wrong, we laugh and our cranes look like flightless birds 😆...but its a fun time and when she's 5 or 6, with better hand control, she will appreciate it more im sure. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/103602282-japanese-origami-for-beginners-kit-ebook-20-classic-origami-models](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/103602282-japanese-origami-for-beginners-kit-ebook-20-classic-origami-models) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-27*
