Bought these to replace the bulbs under my microwave, above the oven. In my kitchen, these lights are essential for cooking. The change versus the old incandescent bulb was enormous. These are so so much brighter. I like the cooler color as well for cooking. It makes everything look really clear and well lit. Since buying these, I've started replacing all of my bulbs with LEDs.By the way, I used to avoid off-brand light bulbs like the plague. Brand name incandescents were always better than generics in my opinion. LED technology seems to be changing that game.
