What is this distance when the castors are in the raised posit?** A: Hi Nick, it’s 175mm from the floor to the top of the foot plate in the castors “relaxed” position. There’s a template provided with the castor for screw positions. When in the raised position clearance of my work bench off the floor is 6-10mm. They’re solidly made and move my work bench about my garage easily enough. I did have one of the plates split that the wheel fixes to but the company sent out a replacement immediately FOC and I’ve had no issue since. Hope this helps. **Q: What is the distance between the upper and lower three holes, please? If you could measure between hole centres I would be very grateful - thank you!** A: Hi The distance between the holes for the Workbench Castor model is 7cm from centre holes top to centre holes bottom Hope this helps **Q: Where were these manufactured?** A: Hi These workbench castors are manufactured in China Kind Regards Marc **Q: what is the width of the base plate?** A: The base plate is 50mmx70mm ## Frequently Bought Together - GBL Heavy Duty Retractable Workbench Caster Wheels + Screws - Set of 4 Castor Wheels up to 500Lbs - No Floor Marks Castors for Portable Furniture or Work Bench - SPACEKEEPER Workbench Casters kit 660 Lbs - Retractable Casters Heavy Duty Bench Caster Wheels Designed for Workbenches Machinery & Tables, 4 Pack - Bora Portamate Mobile Base Kit PM-1100 - Heavy Duty, Universal, Customizable, Adjustable Rolling Set, Dolly Roller Frame and Casters for Moving Equipment, Tools, Machines - 400 lb Capacity --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/102983818-gbl-heavy-duty-retractable-workbench-castors-set-of-4-225kg](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/102983818-gbl-heavy-duty-retractable-workbench-castors-set-of-4-225kg) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-11-07*
