## Description

desertcart.com : Open Farm Grain Free Dry Cat Food, Turkey & Chicken Kibble, 8lb Bag | All Life Stages, High Protein, Prebiotic Digestive Support, Traceable Ingredients, Non-GMO Produce : Pet Supplies

Review: Great picky eater cat food! Human grade ingredients! - I used to buy Purina Beyond, but since it was discontinued I worried for my picky eater cat because she refused to eat any other food to the point of needing vet intervention. Well, I put some of this in my hand like I do for her treats and she ate it right up! She loved the taste so much so I Have started the transition and she’s doing well with no gastrointestinal issues (she also has a sensitive stomach and is 12 years old so the fact she was open to this new food at all was amazing). We are at 50/50 with this and her old food and she actually eats this side first which was my big sign that this worked out so well. I love that this food is humanely sourced and human grade ingredients with no byproduct meals. And for the price point, this is on par with brands you’d buy at your local Walmart or petco. Honestly the health of my babygirl has no price tag but it’s nice that I’m not breaking the bank. The kibble fits nicely in her automatic feeder and doesn’t get crushed or create a lot of food dust. She wasn’t able to rip through the bag (she didn’t try very hard but she did try a little so I was happy the bag held up before I put it in its container.) the bag looks nice, also has a bit more structure than the previous food I used and the way it’s shaped makes it easier to scoop the food. Will definitely be a continued buyer for open farm!
Review: Noticeable improvement in coat & health! Best cat food ever! Two thumbs up!! - This is the best cat food ever! My cat’s coat and health has improved exponentially since switching to Open Farm. I am thrilled that it is so healthy and my cat loves it. I’m especially happy that it is helping to eliminate any concern for furballs. I’m assuming that is due to the pumpkin ingredient. My cat has long hair and that is something we have had to contend with in the past. Overall, I am very pleased with this food. Some may think it’s expensive, but I believe you get what you pay for. My cat is worth feeding a TRUE healthy product.

## Features

- Complete & Balanced For Every Life Stage: Open Farm Homestead Turkey & Chicken delivers 37% minimum crude protein from GAP-certified humanely raised chicken and turkey; that means real, named protein sources your cat can thrive on through their senior years. Formulated to meet AAFCO nutritional standards for all life stages, this high-protein grain free kibble supports active, growing, and adult cats alike
- Gentle on Sensitive Stomachs: Prebiotic fibers support healthy digestion and no corn, wheat, or soy means this grain free formula is well-suited for cats with food sensitivities. Made with a functional blend featuring non-GMO pumpkin, dandelion greens, cranberry. When switching foods, gradually mix increasing amounts over 7-10 days for a smooth transition
- Real Meat Cats Actually Crave: Humanely raised chicken and turkey are the first ingredients, delivering the savory protein appeal that even picky indoor cats respond to. At 445 kcal per cup, a 10 lb cat needs approximately 1/2 cup daily for maintenance, meaning an 8 lb bag lasts roughly 7 weeks
- Optimal Nutrition with Omega Fatty Acids: Guaranteed Omega-3 (min 1.3%) and Omega-6 (min 4.0%) fatty acids support a shiny coat and healthy skin. Our formula contains no artificial flavors, no artificial preservatives, and no rendered poultry or meat meals; every protein source is real and identifiable, reflecting a holistic approach to nutrition with full ingredient transparency from origin to bowl
- Trace Every Ingredient to Its Origin: Open Farm is a Certified B Corporation committed to full transparency; scan the lot code on any bag to trace every ingredient to its geographic origin. Humanely raised chicken & turkey are Global Animal Partnership (GAP) certified, so you can feed your cat with confidence knowing exactly where each ingredient came from
