Fotga branded, slight optical quality issues at some rotations *by H***M on Reviewed in the United States on February 9, 2019* This product is composed of two thin glass polarizing filters with polarization extinguishing from red to mid near-infrared. The rotating dial causes them to be aligned in their polarization axis or anti aligned at 90 degrees. When anti aligned, and very dark to the eye, only the deep portion of the near infrared that is greater than 750nm will transmit through the filter. This will often give more of a black and white deep contrast infrared photo. When aligned, and red to the eye, you will get a much more red filter with color transmission photo that has pale blue foliage and brownish skies.At some rotation angles, I noticed optical distortions in the polarizing extinction. This gives rise to nonuniformity in the image. This is why I dropped a star.In general, it's a great concept, but using lower quality optics. Perhaps my copy has defects. I would pay twice the price for a high quality version.
