Being outside in a Scottish winter is a test for any jacket. Granted I wore a lined fleece under when it was really cold but it kept the wind off me and the rain out.Has a high collar, a nice fleece lining and 2 zipped hand poctets. Also had a zipped brest pocket which is large enough to hold my note 4.It's a nice thick softshell. It's one and only let down is the quality of the zip, I've had to replace mine as it came off within a couple of weeks.
