All 10 lights and 2 remote controls all work. One or two of the lights did not work immediately, but the instructions tell you to unscrew them slightly, and then tighten again. I did this, and it solved the problem. The remote control is not 100% effective. Occasionally one or two of the lights don't respond, but if you press the remote control again they do. It's just a bit of an annoyance - not a big problem for me.
