After reading the review I was skeptical of the build, but after receiving the jerky gun and using it on about 5lbs of venison I haven't had a single problem. I can't imagine the end popping off the threads unless excessive force was being applied. Anybody who has ever operated a caulk gun will recognize that slow and steady pressure will allow the meat to be applied evenly. I did notice that the meat comes out much better when completely warmed to room temperature. Cleans up nice. It has a metal threaded end that fits into a plastic receiver. Under normal pressure of squeezing out finely ground venison through the supplied jerky funnels the plastic female end stripped causing the metal male end to pop off. I tried fixing this by removing the aluminum barrel and reattaching the metal end but after it stripped once it popped off every time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Quality *by D***R on Reviewed in the United States on October 5, 2018* I made my first batch of jerkys using the flat nozzle.
