It's horrible; burns and leaves an obscuring scum on the surface of the lens. I tried several sellers in an attempt to find someone who still had some of the old formula, with no luck. (I also contacted B & L with my complaints, & urge as many people to do so too if they are unhappy with the new formula.) **Q: Can I use directly in eyes for washing rather than for contacts?** A: I use it to moisturize my eyes, but it's usually when I'm wearing contacts. **Q: Can this bottle be opened and refilled?** A: There's no reason to.
