Once installed, they stay put. After many months, I decided to move one I had placed on a laptop. I was able, with a little work, to slide my fingernail under it and peel it off with no visible or tactile residue left behind. I repositioned it, then continued to use it as before. So, the grips can be removed if need be, but are very stable when applied as directed. I feel sure that, considering the hard use many of our electronics get, these grips will continue to work for years.
Review: Know what you need this for - This stuff is awesome. Got worried hearing complaints of it not adding grip or peeling but I have experienced none of that. I got one hand missing (half a palm and two baby fingers) and I rely heavily on pressure on my wonky hand to keep control of anything. I’ve cut this stuff to size for a few tools and a few guns and it’s made all the difference I bought it for! Prep the surface good with isopropyl, don’t be sloppy if your cutting it, and if your using it as it comes make sure the size and placement is in the right spot. Also don’t think it’s all that in a bag of chips.. sandpaper like griptape is stronger and effortless but this isn’t abrasive and going to get caught on fabric, scratch up metal, or flake away little bits of sand that get annoying and destructive especially with guns. I like it and If you absolutely need just a touch more of friction without overkill I highly recommend

**Q: Can a 2020/2021 macbook pro 13 lay flat on a table if i apply this tape to the bottom? is it thicker than the feet?**
A: Don5 know, sorry.  It’s real thin though

**Q: does it leave adhesive when removed? i'm looking to put on my work computer as my computer is super slippery and i have arthritis**
A: So it comes with 4 strips that go on the underside of the laptop.  Two thick ones and two thin ones.  One of the thin ones on mine kept coming unstuck (the others stick great).  I eventually removed it and it did leave some adhesive, but two minutes of aggressively sliding my thumb against it took it all off.  So I would say that it does not leave adhesive that can't be easily removed, and I would recommend this product.

**Q: Are these stickers rubbery or hard to the touch? How well does the adhesive hold around the corners and edges?**
A: they are rubbery, grip-wise. I put them on flat laptop bottom, and they're perfect - haven't dropped it yet!. they may not do well around corners/edges, as they may not be thin/flexible enough.

I don’t find Dragon Grip guitar pick grips to be effective; but these larger strips are perfect on my wife’s laptop. She has not dropped it once since these were applied. Not as svelt as a grippy skin, but cheaper and simpler.
