What is the difference between the 4804 and 4805?

48004 is rated 20,000 pounds and the 4805 is rated 10,000 pounds PER http://www.curtmfg.com/part/48004 and http://www.curtmfg.com/part/48005

Will this fit a 3" id lunete????

Yes it will. I use it on a military trailer with the milspec lunete.

Will this work with a 3" ring?

How much does this weigh? Both 10,000lb and 20,000lb models state 18.3 lbs. I do not beleive they are both the same weight. Please help.

As I recall, I had the 10k for a smaller military trailer. It was not 18 pounds. Maybe about 10-12 pounds. When I pulled an 18’ equipment trailer, it’s pintail stinger was more like 20 pounds. Hope this helps. Note: my equipment trailer was 18’ and rated at 15k ponds.
